Congratulations to all our Chapter members. At the last months NARFE State Federation Convention the Capitol Chapter was honored by being presented the following certificate:
Certificate of Excellence in Membership Recruiting and Retention
In recognition of a 22 percent increase in membership during the period of October 2008 to December 2010. During this period of declining NARFE membership, Chapter 2229 increased its membership from 59 to 76 members.

This Certificate was earned by each and every one of our Chapter's members. We all contribute to maintaining and building membership by each of us renewing our membership and by explaining to other Federal Employees and Retirees the importance of joining NARFE.
